NAME
dxhosts - Displays icons for hosts
SYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/X11/dxhosts [toolkitoptions...]
OPTIONS
Host Manager accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line options,
which are documented in the OPTIONS section in the X(1X) reference page.
The following list documents selected X Toolkit options.
-bg color, -background color
Specifies the color to use for the window background.
-d dispname
Specifies the display screen on which dxhosts displays its window. If
the display option is not specified, dxhosts uses the display screen
specified by your DISPLAY environment variable. The display option has
the format hostname:number. The default value is :0. For more
information, see the X(1X) reference page.
-display dispname
Performs the same function as the -d option.
-fg color, -foreground color
Specifies the color to use for the window foreground.
DESCRIPTION
Use the Host Manager application, dxhosts, to:
· Add or delete a host from the list of preferred hosts
· Enable or disable X Window System(TM) access for all or selected
hosts
· Start applications remotely
To start dxhosts from the graphical user interface:
1. Click on the Application Manager icon on the CDE front panel.
2. Double click on the System_Admin application group icon.
3. Double click on the DailyAdmin application group icon.
4. Double click on the Host Manager application icon.
