ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO (patch) kit exists for SYSLOA.EXE, ERFBRIEF.EXE, and ERFXRP.EXE
on OpenVMS VAX V5.5 - V5.5-1. This kit addresses the problems discussed
below on the following systems:
SYSLOA43 VAXstation 3100 Model 76
SYSLOA43D VAXstation 3100 Model 76/GPX
SYSLOA43S VAXstation 3100 Model 76/SPX
SYSLOA43W VAXstation 3100 Model 76
o Cache error machine checks report incorrect information. The
error formatter places erroneous data in the system log,
making it very difficult to track memory errors.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system
must be rebooted. If the system is a member of a VAXcluster,
the entire cluster should be rebooted.
