The following items are the problems being addressed by this latest TeamLinks
V2.1 patch kit.
o Converting Word 6 to WPSPLUS changes single and/or
double quotes to underscores.
Using the TeamLinks Information Manager, converting a Word V6.0
document that contains single and/or double quotes to a WPSPLUS
document results in the single and/or double quotes being changed
to underscores.

o DX files sent from VMSMAIL are not displayed properly
in TeamLinks.
Some DX files sent from VMSMAIL which go to IBM systems and return
to ALL-IN-1 are not displayed properly in TeamLinks. All the
characters appear in the first column.

o General Protection Fault (GPF) in CONVERT.DLL when file tag is
greater than 15 characters.
Documents that contained file tags with a length greater than 15
caused a GPF in CONVERT.DLL.

o General Protection Fault (GPF) in the MS Word
for MAC viewer under certain conditions.
The user was experiencing a GPF in the viewer while viewing certain
MS Word for MAC documents. The document could be read into MS Word
V6.0 and if resaved, it could then be viewed in the viewer.

o TeamLinks V2.1 - Can't print Routing Service Message
User has reported that they consistently get an "error" when
printing TeamRoute Service Messages from the TeamLinks client.
The print function appears to work, but the printout does not
contain any information.

o User has problem with viewing a word document
Certain Word for Windows V6 documents will launch from TeamLinks
just fine, but the Mastersoft Word V6 viewer will not view the
document from TeamLinks.

o WPSplus converter for Word6 hangs.
Certain WPSplus documents can cause the PC to hang when brought into
Word Version 6.0. Opening the same documents using Word Version 2.0
works fine.

The following items are the problems being addressed by this latest
TeamLinks V2.1 Application Integration Kit (AIK).
o Problems saving documents when multiple Word
docs open AIK
A TeamLinks User has WINWORD 6.0A open with multiple documents
being accessed. They exit Word. They are not prompted for a
location to save the documents. The only document saved is the
first one opened.

o TeamLinks V2.1 AIK for Word V2.0-c - Find File greyed out
When the users have the Access Files in DOS selected for TeamLinks
under Tools, TeamLinks...running TeamLinks V2.1-a with Word V2.0-c
they are unable to perform a File, Open..., Find File... operation.
The button is greyed out.

o Problems with the excel AIK for Teamlinks Verion 2.1 (update)
When the user saves a Excel Workbook that has been created on a
system TLV2.1 AIK all is fine. However, if the file is moved to
a diskette and opened on another PC the user gets the following
error:
Cannot find
"c:\EXCEL\XLSTART\DECEXCEL.SLX! $B$990 which has been assigned
to run each time (document) is opened. Continuing could lead
to erroneous results."
Cancel Close?
This happens with closing and opening a File. Also, users are
losing their data.

o TeamLinks V2.1 , Saving to a different format the
tagging will be wrong.
Using the Danish AIK and MS-WORD v 6.0 the user created a new
document and then saved it as a Word V2.0 format. Checking the
saved format reveiled that the format is set to TEXT in some cases.

o TeamLinks V2.1 , problem with spreadsheet files.
There is a problem when performing a Save As function on an Excel
V5.0 spreadsheet to a V4.0 format into an IOS drawer. Re-editing
the document attempting to do a Save, causes the Save As dialog
to appear and it will not save the document to the same file.

o Problem with socket dropping when using NEWMAIL.
o Problem with VIEW.DLL from ECO #2.
