PW_NW-VMS PWVNECO12010 PATHWORKS for OpenVMS NetWare ECO Summary

Copyright (c) Digital Equipment Corporation 1994. All rights reserved. PRODUCT: PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (NetWare[R]) OP/SYS: OpenVMS VAX SOURCE: Digital Equipment Corporation ECO INFORMATION: ECO Kit Name: PWVNECO12010 ECO Kits Superseded by This Kit: PWVNECO11010 PWVNECO10010 PWVNECO09010 PWVNECO08010 PWVNECO07010 PWVNECO06010 PWVNECO05010 PWVNECO04010 PWVNECO03010 PWVNECO02010 PWVNECO01010 ECO Kit Approximate Size: Saveset A - 126 Blocks Saveset B - 1854 Blocks Saveset E - 1026 Blocks Total of 3 files - 3006 Blocks Kit Applies To: PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (NetWare[R]) V1.0 System Reboot Necessary: No ECO KIT SUMMARY: This kit contains all fixes from previous kits as well as the following: o In situations where the file server attempted to recreate a file that was open, the file server would sometimes incorrectly free resources. This could result in unpredictable behavior. o On nodes running VMS V6.1, hybrid users were unable to print. o There are problems with the dynamic addition and deletion of volumes. Therefore, the file server in this kit no longer processes these operations. SCONSOLE allows you to do them and updates the configuration files, but the changes will not take affect until the file server is restarted. o Under some load related circumstances, the SAPD process had the potential to exhaust virtual memory. Also, the SAPD process did not correctly write messages to it's log file.
