on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will
be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (LAN Manager) and PATHWORKS
for OpenVMS (Netware) on OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 through V7.1 or OpenVMS
Alpha V6.1 thorough V7.1.
A variety of customer problems have been corrected and fully documented
in the Release Notes.

PATHWORKS V5.0F ECO2 for OpenVMS has been tested to ensure that
the product will run in the Year 2000 and beyond.
Problems Fixed in ECO2 to V5.0F (LAN Manager)
o Incorrect SMB TConn&X response for a client request.
o Adding security acl's on large fat container files caused
corruption in the security.lmx file.
o ADMIN/PATH hangs.
o PWRK$LMDMN process hangs during replication.
o Crash in License Server - Module: THREAD Routine: ThreadUnlock.
o Error Setting Directory Permissions - SYS0087i.
o ADMIN/PATH ACCVIO adding new printer queue share.
o Fixed broadcast storm caused by logon table updates.
o System crash in Streams - INVEXCEPTN bugcheck
at PWRK$STREAMSOS_V6+00064FFC.
o Server fails to detect and discard duplicate name responses;
PDC becomes unavailable, Replication fails.
o Remove log message for JBC$_NOSUCHENT event from PPS_OS module.
o Ensure a one to one correspondence between suspend and
resume operations on each thread.

o Fix for problem with Access 97 Import from the root

NOTE: The installation kit name is PWRKV50F_E02050 when using VMSINSTAL.
Licensing
Access to PATHWORKS V5.0F for OpenVMS (LAN MANAGER) is granted by both the
new PATHWORKS Client Access License (order number QM-5SUAA-AB) as well as
by previously purchased licenses. Though previously purchased licenses
continue to be valid for use with V5.0F servers, only the new Client
Access licenses may be purchased today.
