ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for DEC OSDS on OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 through V6.2.  This
kit addresses the following problems: 

Problems addressed in the OSDSVTPE01033 Kit:

  o  Numerous cluster corrections in JKDRIVER.  

     Problems were found which caused command timeouts, mount verifies,
     and cluster crashes. 

     NOTE:  OpenVMS VAX V6.1 or beyond is the preferred platform
            for cluster support due to MSCP Server limitations in 
            earlier OpenVMS versions.

  o  Several changes were made to properly support OpenVMS VAX V6.2.

Please refer to the Release Notes included with this ECO for additional
information. 


INSTALLATION NOTES:

In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system
must be rebooted.
