NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded

ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for DECwindows Motif V1.2-5 on OpenVMS V6.2 and later.
This kit addresses the following problems:
PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN DWMOTIF125_UPD-V0100 KIT:
o New Desktop problems
o New Desktop login dialog does not allow language selection
The DECwindows Motif V1.2-5 New Desktop login dialog does not
show languages in the Options - Languages menu. The menu
always shows only the "C" locale, no matter what other locales
are available on the system.
Without this language selection mechanism, language variant
kits of DECwindows Motif will not work, because the user
cannot select the language to be used in the New Desktop
session.
This problem is fixed in the remedial kit.
o New Desktop session does not start if default language is not "C"
The DECwindows Motif V1.2-5 New Desktop session does not start
when the default language is not "C". After entering the
username and password, the New Desktop window manager will
terminate and the front panel will not be displayed. The
default language may be specified in
SYS$COMMON:[CDE$DEFAULTS.SYSTEM.CONFIG]XCONFIG.DAT or by
selecting Options - Language - English (United States) from
the New Desktop login screen. This problem results in
language variants not working properly.
This problem is fixed in the remedial kit.
