The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha. If the system is a member of a VMScluster, the entire cluster should be rebooted. The reboot may be postponed if it is not convenient to do it during installation of this ECO. However, the new driver(s) will not take effect until after a reboot. Installation Overview Install this kit with the POLYCENTER Software Installation utility (PCSI) by logging into the SYSTEM account, and entering the following command at the DCL prompt: $ PRODUCT INSTALL DNVOSIECO01/SOURCE=[location of the .PCSI file] Note that the DECwindows Motif interface to PCSI may also be used.
