OpenVMS ALPLOGI02_061 Alpha V6.1 LOGINOUT ECO Summary
NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will
be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for LOGINOUT on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1, V6.1-1H1, V6.1-1H2.
This kit addresses the following problems:
Problems addressed in ALPLOGI02_061 Kit
o These OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 problem corrections were included in
the multi-version ALPLOAD02_070 remedial kit. They are now
being issued as a V6.1 only remedial kit.
There are no new problem corrections in this remedial kit.
Problems addressed in ALPLOAD01_070 Kit for OpenVMS V6.1, V6.1-1H1, V6.1-1H2
o Some logins are not correctly audited.
o Users without WORLD privilege generate many "No WORLD priv"
audits when logging in.
Problems addressed in AXPLOGI01_061 Kit
o There will be no audit records written or displayed after a
user is prompted for, and successfully enters, a new password
at login time.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
The system does not need to be rebooted after this kit is installed.
However, if you have other nodes in your OpenVMS VMScluster, they should
be rebooted or you should install this kit on each system in order to
make use of the new image(s).
