ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for ACMSxp V3.2 for OpenVMS Alpha on OpenVMS
Alpha V6.2-V7.2. This kit addresses the following problems:
o Logging of the error messages "attribute not found" and "attribute
already exists" to the tpsystem default log file has been greatly reduced.
The error is still returned to the user, but it is not logged to the
tpsystem default logfile.
o The scope of the ACMS_NO_DCE_SECURITY logical has been expanded to
include user written clients. If a client has the logical set then
task servers called by that client should also have the logical set,
or have the appropriate ACL.
o The error pthread operation failed was signalled when a task call task in
the same task group was cancelled.
o The global section transport option between task and processing servers
was broken in some situations.
o The STDL compiler could access violate when producing a COBOL copy file.
o The acmsadmin command would sporadically hang prior to contacting the
tpcontroller.
o The enqueue and dequeue from non-durable record queues would occasionally
fail.
o Prior to this release it was not possible to use get message on a system
catalogue unless a user defined message catalogue also existed.
o Prior to this release it was not possible to compile stdl code with the
following directory specification.
stdl camino::std_wksp_def.stdl
o The acmsadmin command:
stop tpsystem server process
did not work if more than one instance of the server was running.
o Wildcarding is now allowed for reset of server and procedure statistics.
It is now possible to reset the statistics associated with servers and
procedures. For example:
Reset tpsystem server *
Reset tpsystem server interface name
procedure
