ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for EtherWORKS TURBO PCI 10/10TP Drivers.

    BOOTROM subdirectory added.  /BOOTROM/README.TXT file contains 
    information for obtaining the quad-protocol remote boot ROM for 
    this controller.

    Updated diagnostics.

  EZWORKS

    EZWORKS added Win95 installation capability for NDIS3, NDIS2, 
    and 16-bit ODI client drivers.  EZWORKS updated with 
    enhancements to flash ROM functionality, including /autoupdateflash.

        -  Changed default for packet burst length

    NetWare 3.12 NLM files put into a self-extracting zip file, to
    save disk space.

    NOVFILES updated with latest Novell client software.

    Updated PATHWORKS native DLL driver.

  SCO UNIX
  ********
    SCO LLI driver, which supports DE425/DE434/DE435/DE450/DE500, 
    has been updated to include support for DE500-AA, and has been 
    updated to correct a bug in DE450 BNC link negotiation.

    SCO MDI driver has been added to this diskette (supports same 
    adapters as LLI driver above).

  WINDOWS 95

    Win95 driver added, along with Win95 setup file (de450.inf).

  WINDOWS NT
  **********
    Windows NT drivers changed significantly.  The V2.4 kit used
    DC21X4 drivers, which supported the DE425, DE434/435, DE450, 
    and DE500. This kit uses DE450 drivers, which support only the 
    DE450.  The Windows NT setup file (oemsetnt) was changed to 
    reflect this. The new DE450 drivers are optimized for the DE450 
    hardware. Also, the driver for Windows NT 3.51 for PowerPC has 
    been added.

  WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS

    Windows for Workgroups setup file (oemsetup.inf) modified to 
    add support for DE425 and 21142-based on-board controllers for 
    NDIS3.  This setup file supports only DE450 for NDIS2 and 16-
    bit ODI drivers.  For NDIS3 (enhanced mode), this setup file 
    supports DE425, DE434, DE435, DE450, DE500, and 21142-based 
    on-board controllers.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

This ECO kit contains PC based files in a self-extracting format.

Follow the steps below for using these files:

1.  Copy 45KIT250.EXE onto your PC.
   
2.  Expand 45KIT250.EXE to a blank diskette (as shown) or an empty
    directory. 
   
       C:\TMP>45KIT250 -d A:\

    This will expand the file into its individual components with 
    directory structure intact and place them on the diskette in
    drive A:\. 

    NOTE:  Some Driver Installations require the use of Setup Files and
           look for this information on a diskette.  For this reason we
           suggest expanding the ZIP file to a diskette.  This diskette
           would replace the driver diskette shipped with the EtherWORKS
           adapter.
