NAME

  sys_attrs_lsm - lsm subsystem attributes


DESCRIPTION

  This reference page lists and describes attributes for the Logical Storage
  Manager (lsm) kernel subsystem. Refer to the sys_attrs(5) for an
  introduction to the topic of kernel subsystem attributes.

  lsm_rootdev_is_volume
      A value used by the subsystem when the root file system is on an LSM
      volume. Do not modify the default setting for this  attribute unless
      instructed to do so by Compaq Computer Corporation support personnel or
      by patch kit documentation.

  lsm_swapdev_is_volume
      A value used by the subsystem when the primary swap device is on an LSM
      volume. Do not modify the default setting for this attribute unless
      instructed to do so by Compaq Computer Corporation support personnel or
      by patch kit documentation.

  max-vol
      The maximum number of LSM volumes per system.

      Default value: 1024 (volumes)

      Maximum value: 4096
