This directory contains Version 3.01 of the Adobe Acrobat Reader for
the Linux operating system.


System Requirements

Intel(R) 80x86-based computer, Linux 1.2.13 or later kernel (The Acrobat
Reader for Linux was built on a 2.0.0 kernel.)


Installation Instructions
-------------------------
1.  As the root user, uncompress the ACROREAD.Z file using the uncompress
    command with its -c option to redirect the output to a writable
    directory.  For example:
    
    # uncompress -c ACROREAD.Z > /tmp/acroread_linux_301.tar

2.  Unpack the tar archive.

3.  Read the file INSTGUID.TXT for installation steps.
