Example: Modifying Saturation



• Saturation = magnitude of difference between color and luminance
  s = |[Y Y Y 0] - [R G B A]|
  
• To modify: Extrapolate from luminance
  [R’ G’ B’ 0] = (1 - x) * [Y Y Y 0] + x * [R G B 0]
