Theme Applied to a SharePoint Team Services Web Site in Internet Explorer Is Not Applied When You Edit Web Site in FrontPage (817129)


The information in this article applies to:

  • SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft

SYMPTOMS

If you open your Web site in Microsoft Internet Explorer, click Site Settings, and then click Apply theme to site to apply a theme to your Web site, the theme may not appear when you edit your Web site in FrontPage.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you already have your Web site open in FrontPage before you make changes to the Web site in Internet Explorer.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, close and then reopen your Web page in FrontPage.

Note If you press F5 to update the page in FrontPage, the theme is not applied.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
