SMC Ethernet Drivers
====================

Most ISA SMC cards should use the same SMC8000 driver, the latest version of
which you can find in ether.exe. For manuals, older drivers and other utilites
consult the appropriate subdirectory and its README file.

Note that SMC aquired Western Digitals NIC business in 1991 so some early
cards such as the 8003 may carry Western Digital branding.

To figure out which card you're looking at based on the ethernet controller,
consult the following table:
