Legal Notice

The freeware downloadable from the freeware.sgi.com Website consists of an assortment of binary and source code format software packages (the "Freeware"), which is made available from various vendors, including SGI and others. Accordingly, each of the vendors, or even third party suppliers to those vendors, are themselves the providers (and, in most cases, the licensors) of the separate software packages.

The terms and conditions applicable to use of the downloaded software may be presented in any of a number of ways, as determined by the individual providers of the Freeware. They may appear in README files, in COPYING files, in bootscreen licenses, in "clickwrap" or "clickthrough" licenses, in forms for which you are invited to write away, or not even appear at all. Some may even be contributed to the public domain. SGI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO FREEWARE, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, SECURITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. SGI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUE AND/OR SAVINGS, AND/OR LOST OR LOSS OF PROSPECTIVE ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF FREEWARE.

Freeware is not supported by SGI or any of its support providers. Freeware is made available through the generous efforts of its providers. Although they are presumably interested in your feedback, they are under no obligation to address bugs, enhancements, or answer questions.
