mhash-0.8.17: description + notes
The mhash library provides an easy way to access strong hashes such as MD5, SHA1 and other algorithms. It provides the following features:
- Free software (GNU Lesser General Public License)
- Reentrancy support
- Support for known strong algorithms
- Support for less-known algorithms such as GOST
- Should work on every ANSI C conforming platform
Developers intending to use this distribution for application development should be sure to read the information in FAQ 3.8.
