1.0  What's new in this release

This release corrects erroneous "low fan speed" error messages and
a memory leak in IBMFANW.DLL.



2.0  Windows NT Device Drivers for IBM Netfinity 3500 requirements
__________________________________________________________________

These drivers allow systems management applications to monitor system
environmental conditions in a Netfinity 3500 such as temperature,
voltage, and fan speed.  They also monitor whether the cover is
removed from the system.


Supported platforms:
--------------------

  Hardware requirement:
  - Netfinity 3500 server

  Software requirements:
  - Netfinity Manager Version 5.00 and later
  or
  - IBM Universal Management Agent, which includes LanDesk Client
    Manager components

  Operating system:
  - Microsoft Windows NT



3.0 Installation instructions

1. Insert the disk labeled Windows NT Device Drivers for IBM Netfinity 3500
   into your diskette drive.

2. Change to your diskette drive by typing "A:".

3. Change to the WINNT directory by typing "CD \WINNT" at the command prompt.

4. Type "NETFINST.EXE" at the command prompt.

5. Follow the screens until the installation is completed.

6. After installation is complete, you must re-boot your machine.

NOTE: There is no help available for the installation.
