So the NFSv4 protocol doesn't need to specify that when truncating an
existing file in a "create" operation, we do anything with extended
attributes.

The documentation I have says the file "supplies extended attributes for
the file being created", which sounds as if the extended attributes are
set only if the file is being newly created, not if the file already
exists and is being opened and truncated^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hoverwritten.
