I think draft-ietf-nfsv4-nfssec-01.txt should be submitted for consideration as a Proposed Standard immeditely. During that review period, IANA sent IESG comments requesting an IANA Considerations section, and also to change the address of iana to iana@iana.org. IESG also apparently wants iana@iana.org and not nfs-ana@sun.com to administer string names for new flavors. Yesterday I learned of this, and modified the document accordingly and submitted it today. I also made some cosmetic changes: - change the URLs from RFCs to www.ietf.org - made some the reference markers consistent - added the prefix "ONC" to the first mention of RPC - added a note to indicate that the i-d complies with RFC2026. Notice of the new revision -01 being archived should be sent to nfsv4-wg@sunroof.eng.sun.com in a few days, but those that want to look at it now can view it at http://playground.sun.com/~mre/nfssec/ The web page's most recent revision is termed the "Fourth". That is because the base version and first two revisions versions were prefixed as draft-eisler-nfssec-XX.txt, before this document because an nfsv4 wg work item. I'll leave it to Brent to decide if another WG last call is necessary, before re-sending it to IESG for re-consideration as a Proposed Standard. -mre ----- End Included Message -----
