The next IETF meeting is will be in Minneapolis March 15-19. We would normally reserve one or more sessions for the NFSv4 Working Group at each IETF meeting, however this one is just one week after the Connectathon 99 event in San Jose March 4-11. For details and registration see: www.connectathon.org For 13 years Connectathon has been an annual event for NFS engineers to get together with their machines and source code and find interoperability bugs. It is also a venue for presentations that are open to the public. The presentations are all on-line: http://www.connectathon.org/talks98 Since a significant number of NFS engineers in this working group attend Connectathon, a WG meeting in Minneapolis the following week seems a bit redundant. I propose we schedule one or more WG "sessions" in the Connectathon presentations March 8-10 and *not* schedule NFSv4 WG sessions in Minneapolis. These sessions will be open to the public (no fee), and we'll record attendance (blue sheet) take minutes, and file a session report with the Area Directors. I realize that this may not suit East coasters or those who attend IETF meetings - but do not normally attend Connectathon. I'd appreciate opinions for/against holding the next WG meeting at Connectathon 99. Thanks Brent
