One of the first milestones for the NFSv4 working group is to produce a
requirements document.  I have put together a very rough draft version and have
placed it at:

I will be giving a presentation on the contents of this document at Monday's
working group meeting.  However, any and all comments are welcome before and
after that meeting.

Keep in mind that this is a rough draft. One of the weak points of the
document is the lack of information about other distributed file systems
(this is one of the 'requirements' of the working group charter).
If anyone has input for these topics I would appreciate the feedback.

The first draft of this document is supposed to be published as an Internet
draft this month.  I would like to meet this goal and make August 31st the
'publish' date.  Also keep in mind that the document is to be complete in
September.
