NetWare Lite users have reported that they can get NetWare Lite or PC-NFS(R) to work separately but not both together. This document is to help users run PC-NFS on a machine that is also running NetWare Lite software. The configuration listed has only been tested by NetWare Lite users. You must use the ODINSUP drivers from Novell to get this configuration to work properly. The following files are required: File Name Version --------------- --------------- PCNFS files 3.5 DOS Any ODINSUP.COM 1.01 LSL.COM Current IPXODI.COM Current Card ODI Driver Current NETBIND.EXE 1.1 PCNFS.SYS for v3.5 SOCKDRV.SYS for v3.5 PROTMAN.SYS 1.1 NFS-NDIS.SYS for v3.5 Another thing you must be aware of is that NetWare Lite and PC-NFS have a NET.EXE utility. Therefore, make sure you issue the NET command in the correct directory to ensure that the desired command is processed. Note: -o- ODINSUP.COM is found in DOSUP7.ZIP on NetWire. To get this file, type GO NOVFILES on CompuServe. Then go into the Client updates area, then into the DOS/Windows update files area. The DOSUP7.ZIP file also contains the latest LSL.COM and IPXODI.COM files. -o- NETBIND.EXE and PROTMAN.SYS will be found on the NDIS driver diskette that comes with your network board. -o- PCNFS.SYS, SOCKDRV.SYS AND NFS-NDIS.SYS come with the PC-NFS package. The following are samples of the AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, NET.CFG, and PROTOCOL.INI files that can be used: CONFIG.SYS c:\dos\ansi.sys dos=umb, high shell=c:\dos\command.com /p /e:1024 buffers=40 files=40 device=c:\pcnfs.sys device=c:\sockdrv.sys device=c:\lanman\protman.sys device=c:\lanman\nfs-ndis.sys lastdrive=m AUTOEXEC.BAT prompt $P$G doskey set nfsdrive=c set tz=cst6cdt c:\nwlite\lsl c:\nwlite\ odinsup netbind nfsrun c:\nwlite\ipxodi server client NET.CFG protocol ODINSUP bind link driver int ??
