Provo, Utah., -- February 10,1993--Novell, Inc., announced NetWare Lite v1.1 for DOS and Windows, an upgraded version of its award winning desktop networking solution, which provides users with a means of easily managing their network without having to leave Windows. NetWare Lite v1.1 for DOS and Windows provides users with seamless integration of NetWare Lite peer-to-peer networks with the Windows graphical environment and is an easy to user, inexpensive networking solution for small business and departmental workgroups within an enterprise network. "Users who have asked for improved Peer-to-Peer desktop integration with the network and its services now no longer have to exit Windows to DOS in order to perform network management functions. Through a single login, users have access to all resources and servers on the network. In the event that a server on the network exits from the network, NetWare Lite will automatically reconnect all prior connections when the server is rebooted or power is regained.
