abstract

This Hotfix contains updated OpenSSL components to resolve a security vulnerability found in eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 5 Patch 6.

This patch is for NetWare 6.5 SP8 platforms only. As Hotfixes are not cumulative, the server should already have all patches applied up to and including eDirectory 8.8 SP5 Patch 6 Hotfix 1 before applying this patch.

Installation

This Hotpatch is a manual installation.


NetWare:

1. Rename/backup the following files found in sys:\system.
LLDAPSSL.NLM
NTLS.NLM
2. Copy the patch files LLDAPSSL.NLM & NTLS.NLM to the sys:\system directory.
3. Restart the server.

NOTE: This fix addresses the standard LibC library environment. LibC superceded the Clib environment in NetWare 5.1.
