NMAS 3.3.2.7 Hotpatch for NetWare

abstract

This patch is an update to NMAS 3.3.2 which shipped with eDirectory 8.8 SP5.
This update is being provided to resolve issues found since the original release of NMAS 3.3.2.

Platforms: NetWare 6.5.

NMAS version in this patch is 3.3.2.7. The readme and platform install docs have been moved online. Please refer to this online document for the latest information.

ISSUES RESOLVED

NMAS 3.3.2.7

- Threads are hanging when LDAP requests are made on external reference servers  (Bug 680441)

- NMAS authentications leaking connections  (Bug 674033)

- Core dump with NMAS SSHA bind using multiple threads  (Bug 628257)

INSTALLATION

1.  Unzip the patch file.

2.  Mount the SYS volume of the NetWare server.

3.  Copy all NLM's files from netware\system to the SYS:SYSTEM folder.

4.  Copy the nmas schema file from netware\system\schema to sys:\system\schema.

5.  Restart the NetWare Server (or type " reset server " from the Console).

6.  Extend the nmas.sch schema file.
