details
Issue: Files and directories times change by 1:00 hour when the data is migrated from a NetWare 5.1 SP8 NSS volume to OES2 Linux NSS volumes and migration is performed during DST(Day Light Saving) timezone.
Solution: This issue is due to the difference between the timezone identifiers between the TSA500 (Target Service Agent on NW51)and OES Linux TSA. Use the TSA500.NLM from this link to resolve this issue.
When to use this NLM:
This NLM needs to be used only if the data migration is performed from a NW51 SP8 server to OES Linux NSS volumes during the DST timezone. New TSA500.NLM needs to be loaded on NW51 before starting the data migration. This NLM need not be used for normal backup and restore of NW51 Volumes.
Steps to use the NLM:
1. unload tsa500
2. copy SYS:SYSTEM\TSA500.NLM to a different location
3. copy TSA500.NLM to SYS:SYSTEM
4. load TSA500
5. Start the data migration using the Migration Tools
