ABSTRACT:

This version of TCPIP.NLM has been tested and is approved for release with
NetWare 5.1 Support Pack 1 and NetWare 5.0 Support Pack 5.

This version is also for NetWare 4.11/4.2, but requires that Support Pack 8a is
installed.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

For proper operation both ends of the VPN link must run the same encryption
level.


To install with the NetWare 5.1 Support Pack 1:

1. Copy the TCPIP.NLM into the \PRODUCTS\TCPIP\DOMESTIC directory. NOTE: You
will have to create the DOMESTIC directory.

2. Install the NetWare 5.1 Support Pack 1.



To install with the NetWare 5.0 Support Pack 5:

1. Copy the TCPIP.NLM into the \PRODUCTS\BM\SYSTEM directory. NOTE: You will be
replacing the 56bit version of TCPIP.NLM.

2. Install the NetWare 5.0 Support Pack 5.



To install directly on the NetWare Server:

1. FLAG SYS:SYSTEM\TCPIP.NLM to normal

2. Rename current SYS:SYSTEM\TCPIP.NLM to another name i.e. TCPIP.SAV

3. Copy TCPIP.NLM into the SYS:SYSTEM directory

4. FLAG TCPIP.NLM as RI and DI

5. Reboot the server after completion. 



ISSUE: 

There are no additional fixes included in this download file, in comparision
with the TCPIP.NLM's that shipped with the Support Packs.
