NOVELL PRODUCTS and VERSIONS:

ABSTRACT:

Sun updated its JNDI specification but didn't make it backward compatible. 
Novell believes in backward compatibility, NJCL (Novell Java Class Libraries)
is coded to the new specification to co-exist with the prior version.  Today,
on NetWare 5+ systems, NJCL is released in SYS:JAVA\BIN and SYS:JAVA\LIB. 
NJCLv2 is the new version and will host its files at SYS:JAVA\NJCLV2\BIN and
SYS:JAVA\NJCLV2\LIB.  

It is recomended that SP1 and SP5 be applied to ALL NetWare 5.1 and NetWare 5.0
servers respectively prior to installing this file.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Run NJCL.EXE from a Client to install on servers.

ISSUE: 

NJCLv2 will be released in future support packs but the ConsoleOne team needs
the files sooner than the next support pack.  Therefore, they've asked that we
provide a download location (ftp or http) where customers can get NJCLv2 to
install prior to running their product (ConsoleOne 1.2d) which has a dependency
on the fixes we've included in NJCLv2.  We are not planning on rev'ing the
older NJCL anymore.
