ABSTRACT:

This patch contains a named.nlm which can be used to update the DNS
functionality of the server.  Issues addressed by this patch can be found in
the "Issue" section of this readme.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Copy this patch to a folder and run it.  This will extract the named.nlm to
that folder. 
2. Rename the existing NAMED.NLM located in the sys:system directory of the
server.
3. Copy the patch NAMED.NLM into the sys:system directory of the server.
4. If NAMED.NLM is loaded on the server, unload and reload NAMED.NLM.

ISSUE: 

- Validate connection handles in maintenance thread, in case of
timeout.(000364728)

- Fixed ABEND with invalid forwarding list.

- Delete lame NS referrals matching query name, avoid excessive recursive
lookups.(000353291)
                
- Novell secondary DNS servers don't detect a PTR record change from a Unix
primary. (000330316)

- Accept NXDOMAIN records when the response is not authoritative.  NXDOMAIN
records go out with the authoritative bit set.
                
- Fixed CPU hog ABEND in named.nlm when server is shutdown. (000358814)

- Fixed ABEND in findns function.

- Fixed ABEND in named.nlm (corrupt hash table) (000368296)
