ABSTRACT:

SHOWENV.EXE is a Windows program that displays the current workstation
environment variables. This tool is useful for troubleshooting environment
variable problems in the Application Management component of ZENworks. For
example, you can create an Application object that runs SHOWENV.EXE to verify
the values of specific environment variables.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

The SHOWENV.EXE program can be copied to a local or network drive. 

ISSUE: 

SHOWENV.EXE is a simple, stand-alone Windows program that displays the current
workstation environment variables. This tool is useful for troubleshooting
environment variable problems in the Application Management component of
ZENworks. For example, you can create an Application object that runs
SHOWENV.EXE to verify the values of specific environment variables.  

To do this, create a simple Application object and specify <path>\showenv.exe
in the "Path to executable file" field.  Then set the variables you want to
test in the Environment Variables page of the Application object. The
environment variables set should appear in the list of variables displayed by
SHOWENV.EXE.

This utility was created to help you and other system administrators and is
provided free of charge. It is not a Novell-supported product.
