ABSTRACT:

NetWare 3.2 and NetWare 3.12 OS Patch containing a Year 2000 display fix for
TTS.

None of the year 2000 issues addressed by this update pose any threat to the
network or to data integrity.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Requirements:

1) Hardware must be year 2000 ready (check with your hardware vendor).

2) Install the CLIB updates.

3) All the latest patches/fixes must already installed on the server.

4) Make a back-up copy or rename the original files before replacing them.


To install patch:

1) Verify that the server is running the current OS patches from in 312PTD.EXE
or later.

2) Down the server and copy TTSY2KFX.NLM to the patch director as installed by
the OS patch kit, in ths case the PMLOAD command will load TTSY2KFX.NLM in
addition to the released patches. Or copy the patch to a different directory on
the boot drive and add a seprate line to the startup.ncf to load TTSY2KFX.NLM
after the load pm312 and pmload statements. 
    For example:
         LOAD C:\NWSERVER\PATCHES\4START\PM312
         PMLOAD C:\NWSERVER\PATCHES\START
         LOAD C:\NWSERVER\TESTPAT\TTSY2KFX

3) Restart the server and then verify that the patch has been loaded by using
the "modules" command.



ISSUE: 

TTSY2KFX.NLM

When sys volume is getting mounted, the following shows up on the console
regarding the Transaction Tracking System.

01/01/100 - Initializing Transaction Tracking system ....
When it's processing an incomplete transaction the time stamp on the
transaction is also 01/01/100.
