ABSTRACT:

QKILL is a NetWare bindery utility that is run from a Macintosh workstation. 
It will delete ATPS.NLM bindery objects that are in use or corrupted. This
utility will work with ATPS.NLM v3.0, v3.1 and v3.11 that shipped with NetWare
for Macintosh v3.x.

ISSUE: 

ATPS.NLM v3.0, v3.1 and v3.11 that shipped with NetWare for Macintosh v3.x
creates bindery objects that are not accessible through the DOS Pconsole
utility. QKill is the utility for deleting ATPS.NLM bindery objects.

 To implement QKILL:
 1.  Install QKILL on a Macintosh client.
 2.  Unload ATPS.NLM at the server.
 3.  Login to the file server from the Macinosh client with supervisor access.
 4.  Run QKILL from a Macintosh client.
     From "File Edit QKill" pull down 'QKill' and select 'Start'.
     Enter the volume name as prompted.
 5.  After running QKILL successfully, reload ATPS.

Installation Instructions:

Instructions for extracting the Macintosh binary files:

 1. Copy the dos executable file QKILL.EXE to a NetWare volume with Macintosh
name space support.

 2. Execute the file from a DOS workstation to self extract to the Macintosh
binary self extracting archive. (Type "QKILL" at the DOS prompt.)

 3. Execute the Macintosh self extracting archive from a Macintosh workstation.
(Double click on the QKill.SEA icon from a Macintosh client to expand it.)
