For example, 386wcg.010 is patch number 10 and is to be applied to the 386wcg.exe file. 386wcgl.011 is patch number 11 and is to be applied to the 386wcgl.exe file. Each patch file is contains comments about what bug is fixed by the patch. Patches are installed using the wpatch.exe utility. To install a particular patch, the following syntax is used: wpatch filename.num where filename.num is the full name of the patch to be installed.
