Purpose: When attempting to delete users, their home directories, and subdirectories, MAKEUSER was inconsistent. Some of the deleted users' subdirectories and home directories were not being deleted as they should. In some cases the users home directory was deleted and the subdirectory was then made the home directory. This version of MAKEUSER fixes this problem and deletes all appropriate directories. To install this utility: 1) Flag MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP as SRW (Sharable Read Write) in the PUBLIC directory. 2) Rename MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP to MAKEUSER.old and MAKEUSER.sav in the PUBLIC directory for backup purposes. 3) Copy MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP to the PUBLIC directory on your system. 4) Flag the new copy of MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP back to SRO (Sharable Read-Only). ÿ
