ABSTRACT:
This file contains FLAGDIR.EXE v1.21 for NetWare 3.11 and v2.2.  The file
corrects a problem of the workstation hanging when a directory name has a
period in it.  The file also corrects a problem with getting error messages
when running FLAGDIR because the file server name was more than eight
characters.

                      README FOR FLGDIR.EXE

This README file accompanies FLAGDIR.EXE v1.21 for NetWare v3.11 and v2.2.

Purpose:
This version of FLAGDIR.EXE fixes a problem when attempting to execute the
FLAGDIR command as follows:

     FLAGDIR *.  <attribute>

This command will appear to hang the workstation if the directory has a dot
in the name, e.g., dirname.extension.  FLAGDIR would go into an infinite
loop if a dot extension was found.

This version also incorporates a previous fix to FLAGDIR that fixes a
problem of error messages being returned by FLAGDIR if the server name is 8
or more characters.


Installation:

1)    Flag FLAGDIR.EXE in the public directory to SRW.

2)    Copy FLAGDIR.EXE from the public directory to a diskette for backup
purposes.

3)    Copy this version of FLAGDIR.EXE to the public directory.

4)    Flag FLAGDIR.EXE in the public directory to SRO.
