Server Identification

When you run the Messenger Installation program, it automatically creates a Messenger Server object and fills in the server identification information that is available during installation.

This property page provides default information about the Messenger server. This information applies to any Messenger agents running on this server (Messaging Agent and/or Archive Agent). If the server information is different for either agent, specify that server information on the Identification property page of the Agent object.

After you change settings on the General page, restart the Messenger agents to put the new settings into effect.
