This property page specifies security information for this Messenger agent and overrides the information on the Security property page of the Messenger Server object. Use this property page if the security information is different for this agent.
After you change settings on the Security page, restart the affected Messenger agent to put the new settings into effect.
Certificate Path
Browse to and select the directory where SSL certificates are located on your
system. By default, the agents look for certificate files in the /opt/novell/messenger/certs
directory.
Security
SSL Certificate
Browse to and select the public certificate file to use with the Messenger agents. Or, if it is located in the directory specified in the Certificate Path field, you can simply type the filename.
SSL Key File
Browse to and select the private key file to use with the Messenger agents. Or, if it is located in the directory specified in the Certificate Path field, you can simply type the filename.
Set Password
Click Set Password to type the password for the private key file. This information will be encrypted.
Enable SSL for Client/Server
Select this option to use SSL encryption for communication between the client
and the agents.
Enable SSL for Message Transfer Protocol (Archive Agent Only)
Select this option to use SSL encryption for communication between the Messaging
Agent and the Archive Agent when transferring conversations to the Messenger
archive.
Restore Default Settings
Click to clear any options you have changed and return to the default settings.
