Upon re-entering Windows the systems returns a QEMM protection error and system locks. SOLUTION: Change the Config.sys statement from DOS=HIGH,UMB to DOS=HIGH. QEMM has been made aware of the issue and their engineering is looking into the matter. By removing the UMB, Novell DOS 7.0 utilities such as MEM.EXE will no longer report upper memory usage. Quarterdecks MFT.EXE [Manifest] must be used to get reports on upper memory usage. Novell's LH command cannot be used to loadhigh TSRs into upper memory, Quarterdecks LOADHI must be used.
