SYMPTOM:

A customer had seven CD-ROM drives attached to a SCSI controller, but
was able to see and read only the first five in the chain.  If he
disconnected the first two cd-roms in the chain he would be able to
see the last five in the chain.  No matter what configuration he used
he could only see up to five cd-roms.

CAUSE:

NWCDEX.EXE drivers dated 11/16/94 or earlier are limited to accessing
no more than five cd-roms at a time.

SOLUTION:

The NWCDEX.EXE driver dated 12-08-94 or newer can access all seven
cd-roms. The latest NWCDEX.EXE driver can be found in D70Uxx.EXE
(with xx indicating the revision of the file, which was D70U10.EXE at
the time of this writing).
