CAUSE: Problem exists in original SHARE.EXE with Novell DOS. TROUBLESHOOTING: With Novell DOS, Medical Ideal gets a sharing violation when you try to bring up a second copy. This occurs regardless of whether your task controller is TASKMGR (multi or switching) or Windows. Interestingly, the sharing violation does not occur if you are running both sessions over a Personal NetWare (PNW) mapped drive. Under MS DOS, both Windows and DOSSHELL's task switcher can bring up multiple sessions of the program. This software is specifically designed for multiuser/multitasking DOS environment. SOLUTION: Get update file D70U08.EXE or later and use new SHARE.EXE, IBMDOS.COM, and IBMBIO.COM. The IBM*.* files are not actually related to this issue, but they must be used because of other changes to SHARE.EXE.
