SYMPTOMS:

Unable to run ND7 DISKOPT on an retail STACKER 4.0 drive.

If an attempt is made to use the ND7 DISKOPT on a Stacker 4.0 drive
the following error message is returned:

"You have attempted to run a version 3.10 DISKOPT with a version 4.0
Stacker Device Driver.  Please upgrade to at least a version 4.00
DISKOPT to be compatible with the Stacker Device Driver."

SOLUTION:

The error message is misleading. An upgraded DISKOPT or a version
4.00 DISKOPT is not available. SDEFRAG that ships with the retail
version of STACKER v4.0 should be used instead of any version of
DISKOPT.
