APPLICATION SPECIFICS KNOWN TO DATE: Wizardry 7 - Crusaders of the Dark Savant - apply this patch. Vshield - apply this patch. F15 - Strike Eagle III - apply this patch and use MEMMAX -U in Autoexec.bat NOTE: After installing this patch there are some other applications that may return "Packed file corrupt" errors. This may sound like a severe problem but all you need to do is type MEMMAX -L prior to starting the application. The easiest way to do this is create a batch file that will turn off lower memory (MEMMAX -L) for the application in question and then turn it back on (MEMMAX +L) once you have exited that application. Word Perfect, for example, will occasionally need this adjustment if used with this patch. The solution would be the following batch file: MEMMAX -L WP MEMMAX +L If you encounter any other applications that require the adjustment mentioned above, please either call (800-638-9273) or fax (408-649-8209) this information to the attention of the PATCH DEPARTMENT as we are tracking this for our Engineering Staff. ÿ
