Prior to this release, the Requester did a version check for OS/2 v1.2 and would not load on any other version of OS/2, e.g. v1.21. ----- NETAPI.DLL Not copied during installation (8/90) ----- If you are installing over an existing Requester, the NETAPI.DLL might not be copied. To fix this, you can boot into DOS and copy it over manually with the COPY command. If DOS is not available, you can remove the component in the LIBPATH statement in CONFIG.SYS that identifies the Requester files. Reboot, then install the Requester and re-modify LIBPATH to include the Requester files and reboot again. ----- Enhanced NetBIOS Support (8/90) ----- The NetBIOS name table is now configurable by using the NET.CFG file. The number of NetBIOS Names can be set to any value between 4 and 128 (inclusive). The old maximum number of names was 26. To configure the new value, used 'NAME #' in the 'NetWare NetBIOS' section of the NET.CFG, where # is the number of names. For example: NetWare NetBIOS Names 128 (See page 116 of "NetWare Requester for OS/2" for more information on reconfiguring the Requester) ----- Access to Message Files ----- To access the Requester message files, modify the DPATH line in the CONFIG.SYS file. You will want to add the directory name where you installed the message files (NET.MSG and NETH.MSG) to the DPATH. For example: If you installed the Message Files to the C:\NETWARE directory, add C:\NETWARE to the DPATH. If the DPATH line is: SET DPATH=C:\OS2;C:\OS2\SYSTEM;C:\OS2\INSTALL;C:\; Modify it to read: SET DPATH=C:\OS2;C:\OS2\SYSTEM;C:\OS2\INSTALL;C:\;C:\NETWARE; ----- SQL Server Users ----- There are files located in the SQL.ZIP file which you need to install for SQL Server Applications to run properly. There is a READ.ME file located in the SQL.ZIP file to assist you.
