INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

These install instructions assume that the client has already been installed.
It is possible to update the client source files for new client installations.

Prior to installing any update you should ensure that you have a reliable
backup.


1. Copy the new LOGINW32.DLL into the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.

2. Copy the new WMPRTNT.DLL into the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.

3. Copy the new NWFS.SYS into the \WINNT\SYSTEM32\NETWARE directory.



Known Issues:

1. NWFS.SYS causes NT to crash with long directory path on a netware drive and
German Umlauts ö ü ä Ö Ü Ä


ISSUE: 

LOGINW32.DLL
Resolves a problem where the contextless login window is displayed prior to the
GUI login.



NWFS.SYS
1. Problems accessing print servers created with the Novell Client 4.7 for
Windows
NT/2000 and the Novell Client 3.2 for Windows 95/98. JetDirect print server
unable to logon and authenticate in queue server mode.

2. After creating a new user object, the Macintosh Client crashes the finder
with
a type 1 error or the chooser with a "finder unexpectedly quit" message and the
computer must be restarted.
Possible Error Messages:
  Error: "Connection status: 0x27 cannot login" 
  Error: "Unable to login 2B" 

3. Unable to detach from servers by using the NetWare Connections or Network
Neighborhood and right-click and choose logout.

4. A problem occurred when the directory that was being opened pointed to the
current working directory the client would open the directory and return a file
handle to the system. The application would then attempt to read the directory
using a standard read file call and would fail.



WMPRTNT.DLL
Resolves a GPF problem when running the scheduler with a WMRUN.DLL error.
