Electronic Download and Installation Instructions for IntranetWare Clients

Download Options
This IntranetWare Client is available for download in the multiple formats:
1) For Network or Fixed Disk Drive Installations 
     a) By downloading multiple self-extracting files (*.exe)
     b) By downloading a single file (*.zip)
2) For Diskette Creation
     a) By downloading multiple self-extracting files (*.exe)
     b) By downloading a single file (*.zip)

Download Instructions
1) Create an installation directory (For example: SYS/PUBLIC/CLIENT/NT)

2) Select the software you wish to download. Select appropriate language as well as the format
you desire.
 
3) Select the "Accept and Download" option to accept the U.S. Export Restrictions.

4) Determine whether you wish to download multiple smaller self-extracting files one at a time
or a single zip which contains all of the self-extracting files. 
     a) To download the single zip file; 
          1- Select "Download a single zip file of all .EXEs"
          2- Save to your designated installation directory
          3- Extract the zip file using PKUNZIP.EXE or WINZIP.EXE
          4- Continue with step 5.
     b) To download multiple smaller files;
          1- Select the first "HTTP Download"
          2- Save to your designated installation directory
          3- Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all *.exe files are downloaded
          4- Continue with step 5.

5) In your designated installation directory, extract each executable and follow the on-screen
instructions. The Client Installation or Client Makedisk area has now been created.

Client Installation
Note that you must download the "Network or Fixed Disk Drive Installation" version of the
client. Refer to "Download Options" above and then follow the Download Instructions.

1) Complete the "Download Instructions"

2) Select and run appropriate Setup as follows:
     a) IntranetWare Client for Windows NT
          - execute SETUPNW.EXE from <your_install_dir>\I386\SETUPNW.EXE
     b) IntranetWare Client for Windows 95
          - execute SETUP.EXE from <your_install_dir>\SETUP.EXE
     c) IntranetWare Client for Dos and Windows
          1.  To use the Windows 3.x based setup
               - execute SETUP.EXE from <your_install_dir>\NLS\<language_dir>\SETUP.EXE
          2. To use the Dos Install
               - execute INST_DOS.EXE from <your_install_dir>\INST_DOS.EXE
3) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.


Creating Diskettes
Note that you must download the "Diskette Installation" version of the client in order to create
Client Installation Diskettes. Refer to "Download Options" above and then follow the Download
Instructions.

1) Complete the "Download Instructions"

2) In your designated installation directory run MAKEDISK.EXE

3) Follow the on-screen instructions to create client installation diskettes
