INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Nename the existing NWLINK2.VXD in the Windows\SYSTEM\ directory, and copy this
one in its place.

ISSUE: 

An application using Winsock to communicate via SPX to a remote host may hang
when the IPX address of the remote host is unreachable. Symptoms can be seen
with NDPS when attempting to download drivers or print across a router that
does not forward IPX.  

The problem is that the API call "WSAConnect to SPX target address" returns
"success" even when the host is unreachable. The application (notably NDPS),
not knowing the connection attempt has failed, moves on to call some other
Winsock function, and the hang occurs.
