Download SAA Patches


ABSTRACT

This TID shows the URLs where NetWare for SAA and HostPrint patches may be obtained. 

NOTE: The attached file contains the same information as this document, and it was included so
it could be located with File Finder. There is no need to download the file if you found this
document in the Knowledgebase.


ISSUE

NetWare for SAA is now jointly developed by IBM and by Novell who are in a
partnership/alliance for this product. The alliance was announced in September of 1995. NetWare
for SAA remains a Novell product and is only available through the Novell distribution
channels.

The distribution of patches however has been split between Novell and IBM. Novell provides all
patches up to NWSAA 1.3a plus all OS patches that are related to SAA (for example the telnet
modules) via the Novell Support Connection, while IBM provides all patches for NWSAA 1.3b
and higher via their support web server at

This also includes patches for HostPrint versions newer than HostPrint 1.11 or
HostPrint/400 1.0.
