 This directory contains an archive of content for or related to Novell 
 products. Much of this data is no longer available from the Novell website
 since the MicroFocus acquisition or earlier.

 caldera_drdos
 -------------
 Caldera DR-DOS and Caldera OpenDOS distribution originally from 
 ftp.caldera.com (via ftp.uni-bayreuth.de). This was made available under the
 terms of a license (see caldera_drdos/LICENSE.TXT) and includes Personal
 NetWare just as Novell DOS 7 did.

 clients
 -------
 An extensive archive of novell clients for DOS, Windows, OS/2 and Mac.

 drdos
 -----
 Patches for Novell DR-DOS 6.0 and Novell DOS 7. See servers/pnw and
 servers/lite for Personal Netware (bundled with Novell DOS 7) and NetWare 
 Lite patches.

 ftp.novell.com-combined
 -----------------------
 A collection of files that were at one point on ftp.novell.com. This is
 *NOT* a mirror of the ftp server - much is missing and it is most certainly
 not a consistent snapshot of the server at any point in time. All content
 has come from web.archive.org. Consult the readme for more information.

 lwared
 ------
 A very old netware server for Linux

 servers

 Patches for Netware 3.11 and up plus Personal NetWare and NetWare Lite.

 NSC_2K
 ------
 This directory contains files available on the 2000/03 issue of the
 Novell Support Connection CD-ROM. 

 Note that errors were encountered imaging both CDs so there may be a corrupt
 file or two.

 NSC_96
 ------
 This directory contains 'downloads' available on the 96/12 issue of the
 Novell Support Connection CD-ROM. This contains many files that were likely
 removed from the novell FTP site by the early 2000s due to being obsolete or
 no longer supported.


 NSC_ARCHIVE
 -----------
 This directory contains files available on the 99/03 issue of the Novell
 Support Connection special edition covering discontinued products.
 
 Note that this data came from a CD-R obtained as part of an online auction
 of netware stuff. No guarantee its contents hasn't been tampered with.

 NSEPro_95_7
 -----------
 This directory contains files available on the 95/7 issue of the Novell
 Network Support Encyclopedia Professional. This is the previous name for
 the Novell Support Connection.

 Content from ftp.icm.edu.pl
 ---------------------------
 Novell content was mirrored from ftp.icm.edu.pl in early 2021. The following
 directories are symlinked into here from /pub/archive/ftp.icm.edu.pl/:
   pub/novell/updates/nw --> nw_upd_97
   pub/novell/updates/mac --> mac_upd_97
   pub/novell/odi --> odi

 The first two appear to be mirrors of parts of ftp.novell.com taken in the
 late 90s. The included .mirror files show the mac directory was first updated
 in July 1997, last updated August 1998. The nw directory was updated from
 mid 1997 to early 1999.

 It is unknown if anything here has been modified or reorganised since it
 came from ftp.novell.com - the .mirror files included in many directories
 would probably give some indiciation.
