Hello. You've just got my rankings program for Worms. Aren't you cunning? Well, I guess you want to know what to do with all these files. That's a very easy one to answer. You can delete half of them, if you want. Here's a run-down: rank.zip - You've just unzipped this readme file *out* of rank.zip, so you can delete it now. rank.c - This is for all you budding C programmers out there. The wf.h complete sources. Most of you want to delete it though. It's really not very interesting unless you're sad like me. rank.txt - You're reading it now. If you don't want it, delete it. Up to you. rank.exe - This is the file you really want. Stick this in the directory containing worms (well, anything with a worms.cfg file in). Then just type rank in that directory, and you're moving. The keys for the ranking program are: Arrow keys up and down : scroll up and down one line at a time. Page up / Page down : scroll up and down one page at a time. T : Display teams W : Display worms F : Toggle between Full mode (display *all* teams/worms, whether they have played or not) and Veteran mode (only display teams/worms that have already played at least one game - default) S : (On teams rankings) - change sort method between AVG (average points for the worms on the team) and W/P (percentage of wins, ie 100*wins/played) P : Print to file - prints both worms and team rankings to the file print.dat - the sort method and full mode decide exactly what to print. Q, Alt-X, or Escape : Quit Any problems, complaints, thanks, general queries (I want all the feedback I can get), money (I wish) to : Jon Skeet jls20@hermes.cam.ac.uk Trinity College Cambridge CB2 1TQ Keep checking out the worms website http://callisto.girton.cam.ac.uk/users/jls20/worms.html Cheers!
